Fantosaur is a dinosaur comedy series and merchandise brand run by one person. This policy explains what happens to personal information across this website, the Fantosaur social accounts, and the Fantosaur shop. If anything here is unclear, write to dino.the.fantosaur@gmail.com and you will get a real answer.
This website collects nothing
fantosaur.com sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment fields, so there is nothing here for you to submit and nothing for us to store.
The fonts and icons this site uses are served from fantosaur.com itself rather than from an outside provider, so simply reading these pages does not send a request to any third party on your behalf.
What our host can see
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like every web host, GitHub receives the technical information your browser sends in order to deliver a page to you, which includes your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. That processing is GitHub's, it is a necessary part of serving the site, and it is covered by the GitHub General Privacy Statement. Fantosaur does not receive, request or keep those server logs.
Links to other places
Buttons and links on this site lead to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and the Fantosaur shop. Nothing is loaded from those services until you choose to follow a link. Once you arrive, you are on their property and their own privacy policies apply. Fantosaur has no control over and no access to what they collect.
The shop
The Fantosaur shop at shop.fantosaur.com is a Printify Pop-Up Store. Printify is the merchant of record. Printify and its payment and print partners take your order, your payment details and your shipping address, and they use that information to charge you and to send you your order. Fantosaur can see order and fulfilment records for its own products, and does not receive full payment card details at any point. Purchases are governed by Printify's privacy policy and terms.
The shop also runs Google Analytics under a Fantosaur measurement property, so page views and basic device and referral information from shop.fantosaur.com go to Google. That is the shop alone. This website still runs nothing of the kind.
Our publishing apps
Fantosaur operates developer applications registered with Meta, TikTok and Google in order to publish Fantosaur's own videos to Fantosaur's own accounts. These apps exist purely to upload our episodes. To be specific about what that means:
- They post only to accounts Fantosaur owns and controls.
- They request no permission to read, collect or store data about any other person.
- They hold no user data of any kind, so there is no user data to sell, share or transfer.
- The only credentials they use are Fantosaur's own access tokens, which are kept privately and never published.
Fantosaur's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
Fantosaur makes family-friendly comedy, so children are welcome to watch. This website knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, children included, because it collects no personal information at all. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Fantosaur by email, write to the address below and it will be deleted.
Your choices
If you email Fantosaur, that message and your email address sit in the Fantosaur inbox so the conversation can be answered and kept in context. You may ask for your messages to be deleted at any time by writing to dino.the.fantosaur@gmail.com, and they will be. Nothing collected by Fantosaur is ever sold or rented, and nothing is shared with anyone except where a service named above needs it to do its job or where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date at the top. A change that materially affects how information is handled will also be announced on the Fantosaur social accounts.
